Privacy Policy

1.Who we are

Elite Fitness Center, a fitness and personal training facility at 1st Floor, Center Point, Jn, Kangarappady, Kochi, Kerala 682021. We run the website at elitefitnesscenter.in and decide how your information is used, which makes us the “data controller” for the details described below.

You can reach us at eliteclub070@gmail.com or +91 81296 74091. Opening hours: Monday to Saturday 5:30 AM – 10:30 AM and 4:00 PM – 10:30 PM, Ladies Only time 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM, closed on Sunday.

2.Information we collect

You give us information directly when you:

• Ask about training or membership: your name, WhatsApp or mobile number, your goal and the time that suits you, which we use to reply.
• Book a slot or trial session: your name and mobile number, plus the gym and time you chose, so the session can be held for you.
• Use the free assessment at /free-assessment: your name, WhatsApp number, age, height, weight, goal and the body-composition figures the tool works out.
• Send us feedback, a review or transformation photos: the message, photos and your name or initials, if you ask us to credit them.

Some of the site works without sending us anything:

• The homepage fitness check: the age, height, weight, sex and activity level you type are calculated in your own browser. They are not sent to us and we do not store them.
• The plan finder: your answers stay on your device while you use it.
• The ₹1,000 enrollment coupon: when you unlock it we save only the date it was issued, on your own device, so the 15-day validity does not restart when you revisit the page.

We also collect basic technical details automatically — the type of device and browser, and which pages you open — so the site keeps working and we can see what needs improving. When you press play on a member video, YouTube loads the video and may set its own cookies; the web fonts on our pages are served by Google.

3.Health information

Age, height, weight and body-composition figures are health information. Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, this counts as sensitive personal data, so we handle it to a higher standard.

• We only ask for it where you deliberately choose to use an assessment or tell us about an injury.
• We use it only to answer your enquiry, suggest a suitable plan and keep your training safe.
• We never use it for advertising, and we never sell it.
• You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us.

4.Why we use your information

• To reply to you on WhatsApp, by phone or by email, and to hold the slot you requested.
• To prepare the plan, estimate or diet guidance you asked for.
• To honour an enrollment coupon or offer you unlocked, and to confirm it with our team.
• To take payment, issue your membership record and give you a receipt.
• To send updates you asked for, such as new batches, offers or member notices.
• To keep safety, insurance and incident records if something happens at the gym.
• To meet legal duties, such as accounting, tax and record-keeping.

5.Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We share it only in these situations:

• WhatsApp (Meta): when you tap a WhatsApp button, the message you were shown is handed to WhatsApp and reaches our team there.
• Google: for embedded member videos and the web fonts used on our pages.
• Our website, hosting and database providers: so enquiries and bookings are recorded and we can serve the pages to you.
• Payment operators and banks: when you settle fees at the gym.
• Medical contacts or insurers: only in an emergency or injury, to protect your health.
• Police, courts or government: when we are lawfully required to disclose.

6.Where we store it and how long

Our providers may store information on servers outside India, which means your details can be processed in countries with different data protection laws. We choose providers that use encrypted connections and access controls.

• Enquiry and lead details: kept while we are trying to reach you and generally for up to 24 months after your last contact with us.
• Booking records: kept until the session is complete, plus a short period in case a dispute arises.
• Membership, fee and receipt records: kept for the life of your membership and then for the period Indian accounting and tax law requires.
• Reviews and transformation photos: kept until you ask us to remove them.

You can ask us to delete your details sooner. We will do so unless we must keep a record for a legal, accounting or safety reason, and we will tell you when that applies.

7.Cookies and browser storage

We use small amounts of browser storage to keep the site usable: to remember the date your enrollment coupon was issued, to keep you signed in to member areas, and to hold your session. These are not used to track you across other websites for advertising.

You can clear browser storage from your browser settings at any time. The site keeps working, but if a coupon date is cleared we cannot confirm your offer automatically and will ask you to confirm it with our team over WhatsApp.

8.How we protect your information

The site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Access to enquiry, booking and membership records is limited to the staff and trainers who need them to help you, and we do not publish your details anywhere.

No method of sending or storing data is completely safe. Please do not send us more than we ask for, and tell us straight away if you think your information has reached someone who should not have it.

9.Children and minors

Martial arts and fitness classes for younger members run with a parent’s or guardian’s consent. A parent or guardian gives the child’s details, receives updates about the class, and can ask us to stop or delete them at any time. We do not knowingly collect information directly from a child without that consent.

10.Your rights

You can ask us to:

• Access: confirm what we hold about you and give you a copy.
• Correct: fix anything inaccurate, such as a wrong number.
• Erase: delete your details where we have no legal reason to keep them.
• Withdraw consent: stop us using information you gave consent for. Some services, such as holding a booking, may not continue without it.
• Nominate: name another person to exercise these rights if you are unable to.

Write to eliteclub070@gmail.com with “Privacy” in the subject line. We may ask you to confirm who you are before we answer, and we normally respond within 30 days. There is no charge for a normal request. If you are unhappy with our answer, tell us and we will review it; you may also raise the matter with the data protection authority notified under Indian law.

11.Other websites

Our pages link to Google Maps, our social media profiles, YouTube videos and, in some blog posts, retailer websites. Those sites have their own privacy policies and we are not responsible for how they handle your information.

12.Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or the law change. The date at the top of the page shows the version now in force, and we will highlight significant changes on the website.
